Manuel Laurendi took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidoro Rio. Isidoro Rio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, Falckner FC's Anastasio Maldonado got control of the ball when Bert Homøe tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bello Cura got free with Anastasio Maldonado in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bert Homøe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Gil made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Argentinean Patriots 1816's Octavio Frederik. If Bello Cura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Falckner FC's Anastasio Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bello Cura in the 22nd minute of play. Anastasio Maldonado was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Bert Homøe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bert Homøe really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Anastasio Maldonado made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Bert Homøe sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Falckner FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Maldonado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidoro Rio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Laurendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bello Cura came free, but Anastasio Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bello Cura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anastasio Maldonado was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Pekka Rollins replaced Bert Homøe. In the 69th minute Bello Cura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pekka Rollins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Argentinean Patriots 1816 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. There was no doubt that Argentinean Patriots 1816 were the better team. Argentinean Patriots 1816's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
