But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Herensuge couldn't finish the play. Marco Herensuge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Izaak Lopez de Toro made a huge save. Eugene Cassidy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Izaak Lopez de Toro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Herensuge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Iliana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Izaak Lopez de Toro made a huge save. Leon Errapel kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Marco Herensuge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izaak Lopez de Toro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Herensuge was the one to do the kick off.
