With his leg Geronimo Rainerio managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Racing Miami Futbol Club's Shane Smiley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ildefonso Lonzo charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Lonzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ildefonso Lonzo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Merrill Banks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Geronimo Rainerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Merrill Banks during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quitilipi's goalkeeper Geronimo Rainerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Merrill Banks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Geronimo Rainerio made a huge save. Geronimo Rainerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Merrill Banks went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Franco Di Giambattista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Silvanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Lonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Rainerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merrill Banks in the 29th minute. Merrill Banks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Geronimo Rainerio made a huge save. Geronimo Rainerio came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Merrill Banks. But to his dismay, Merrill Banks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Merrill Banks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Geronimo Rainerio made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Eduardo Llorienzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Shane Smiley made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Racing Miami Futbol Club were awarded a corner. Phil Vine went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Quitilipi's goalie and right to Merrill Banks. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Quitilipi's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Geronimo Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merrill Banks in the 55th minute of play. Merrill Banks might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geronimo Rainerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Merrill Banks ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shane Smiley in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geronimo Rainerio saved Quitilipi from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Merrill Banks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Rainerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Geronimo Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merrill Banks in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Merrill Banks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Rainerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Keenan Worthington was substituted for Merrill Banks. 77 minutes into the match, Shane Smiley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geronimo Rainerio. Quitilipi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shane Smiley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Keenan Worthington got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Keenan Worthington managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Keenan Worthington was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geronimo Rainerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Keenan Worthington put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Geronimo Rainerio. 96 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Keenan Worthington came free, but Geronimo Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
