Leo Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Iker Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Bartolome hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Hernan Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Rolado in the 7th minute of play. Vinicio Rito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Bernaldo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Iker Transito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remigio Jerano in the 11th minute. Leo Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Iker Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Leo Delfino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cachiyuyo EAS's Melchor Calixto got a free kick in the 27th minute. Teo Rolado charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Rolado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teo Rolado kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Cachiyuyo EAS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leo Delfino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 32 minutes, Remigio Jerano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remigio Jerano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Leo Delfino came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Academia Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Delfino couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Leo Delfino took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Iker Transito to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remigio Jerano to make the kick off. Iker Transito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Delfino in the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes Cachiyuyo EAS got a freekick which was hit by Placido Haimar. The audience was convinced that Leo Delfino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Transito was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Iker Transito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Leo Delfino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Leo Delfino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Transito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cachiyuyo EAS's Iker Transito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Delfino in the 63rd minute of play. Vinicio Rito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Leo Delfino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiyuyo EAS's zone, Leo Delfino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Transito came out of the goal and Leo Delfino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leo Delfino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leo Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Iker Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Leo Delfino made a precise shot to the right of Iker Transito. Cachiyuyo EAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Leo Delfino took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Transito. Iker Transito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Iker Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Delfino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Academia Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
