Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Héctor Mainer got the match started through his kick off. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Héctor Mainer got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hernan Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Mainer, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Mainer in the 9th minute of play forced Academia Club's goalkeeper Hernan Ellande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes Academia Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Santiago Sosa who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Santiago Sosa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hernan Ellande quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 12 minutes into the game, Severo Goiz threw the ball into play from the sideline. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Santiago Sosa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 13 minutes, Héctor Mainer made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Academia Club's Hernan Ellande tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cyprian Sliwinski hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Academia Club were awarded a corner. Carmelo Osmundo went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Héctor Mainer in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Ellande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th match minute, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Díaz to maneuver through the defense. Eurico Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Delfino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Academia Club's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor Mainer came free, but Hernan Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Héctor Mainer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernan Ellande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Hernan Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Mainer, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Héctor Mainer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Academia Club booed when ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprian Sliwinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes Academia Club got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Osmundo. After the first half ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Remigio Jerano made the kick off in the second half. When ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Héctor Mainer in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia Club's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th minute Héctor Mainer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Ellande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes, Enzo Díaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ and the Academia Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Enzo Díaz hit a great ball. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Nicolas De Custer was substituted for Héctor Mainer. After a rather tough play, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Jan Falkiewicz got a free kick in the 66th minute. Academia Club's Hernan Ellande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas De Custer in the 69th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Nicolas De Custer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Ellande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas De Custer in the 78th minute of play forced Academia Club's goalkeeper Hernan Ellande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Academia Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Santiago Sosa was slow to take the kick. During this time ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Nicolas De Custer managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Nicolas De Custer came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas De Custer couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Delfino came free, but Eurico Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Nicolas De Custer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas De Custer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Club's goalkeeper Hernan Ellande, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 90 minutes Academia Club's goalkeeper Hernan Ellande managed, with a little bit of luck, save Nicolas De Custer's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. In the 93rd minute of the game Torsten Norberg made a throw-in which Jeremy White played forward. Hernan Ellande came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Nicolas De Custer. But to his dismay, Nicolas De Custer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ played a much better game than Academia Club and deserved their victory. The Academia Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
