The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remigio Jerano during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gendo Matulessy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Academia Club defense, Yoppie Duaramuri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Ellande. The Academia Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Ellande should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the game, Yoppie Duaramuri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hernan Ellande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yoppie Duaramuri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernan Ellande having to make a save. After 28 played minutes Academia Club got a freekick which was hit by Angel Urtsin. A collision led to Bandung Tigers getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Gendo Matulessy hit a great ball. Hernan Ellande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoppie Duaramuri in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Academia Club's goal looked a bit too open when Yoppie Duaramuri came free, but Hernan Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rdth minute of the game Yoppie Duaramuri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Club's Hernan Ellande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 48 minutes into the game, Jem Butt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bandung Tigers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bandung Tigers's Jem Butt got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yoppie Duaramuri to strike the kick off in the second half. Yoppie Duaramuri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Academia Club's Hernan Ellande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Club from getting a goal against them. Hernan Ellande was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Yoppie Duaramuri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yoppie Duaramuri really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. With his leg Hernan Ellande managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Bandung Tigers's Yoppie Duaramuri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yoppie Duaramuri in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Ellande saved Academia Club from getting behind. In the 69th minute, Yoppie Duaramuri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hernan Ellande. The goal made the score 0-4. Academia Club's Hernan Ellande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Academia Club from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Academia Club's Hernan Ellande got control of the ball when Yoppie Duaramuri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hernan Ellande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoppie Duaramuri in the 85th minute of the match. Yoppie Duaramuri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Hernan Ellande made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Yoppie Duaramuri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernan Ellande was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Hernan Ellande made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Yoppie Duaramuri sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the match, Yoppie Duaramuri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Ellande. Academia Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yoppie Duaramuri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bandung Tigers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
