The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Tadeo Ignado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Millan was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Salvino in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saved River CBBA from getting behind. Oflador FC 2003's Aurelio Dei managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Firmin Abenda in the 60 minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, River CBBA's Tobias Abarca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roque Millan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of River CBBA booed when Oflador FC 2003 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Virila didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Oflador FC 2003 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
