After a defensive mix-up in Quitilipi's zone, Yoppie Duaramuri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Tristan came out of the goal and Yoppie Duaramuri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Quitilipi's Apolo Tristan got control of the ball when Yoppie Duaramuri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quitilipi's Apolo Tristan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Quitilipi from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Yoppie Duaramuri sped through Quitilipi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Apolo Tristan. Apolo Tristan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yoppie Duaramuri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yoppie Duaramuri was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Yoppie Duaramuri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Tristan was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game.
