After a rather tough play, U21 Totoras F.C.'s Alejandro Leis got a free kick in the 4th minute. Edmondo Sarnelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Enrique Lekubegi made a huge save. 12 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Edur came free, but Enrique Lekubegi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Evelio Guipuzkoa got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Edmondo Sarnelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Lekubegi came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Totoras F.C.'s Gerardo Edur. But to his dismay, Gerardo Edur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, U21 Totoras F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Santos Ioritz came free, but Czeslaw Zbydniowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Valentin Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Czeslaw Zbydniowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi got control of the ball when Edmondo Sarnelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Valentin Enekoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Palermo booed when U21 Totoras F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Haimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Palermo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, Edmondo Sarnelli notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi. Enrique Lekubegi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dionisio Oton's late challenge caught a U21 Totoras F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dionisio Oton helped the player get up and apologised. Dionisio Oton kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Alvaro Ermano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Haimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Edur to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of U21 Totoras F.C. booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Edur in the 71st minute of the match. Palermo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alvaro Ermano in the 75th minute. Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Edur in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Edur in the 79th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Enrique Lekubegi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Lekubegi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. U21 Totoras F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Palermo for a fine match.
