Silvestre Evangelista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Elliot Stanley made a huge save. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Agustín Ruberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Romero was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Elliot Stanley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel-Andrés Iniesta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Agustín Ruberto fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's protests and gave Agustín Ruberto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Ruberto to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Ruberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
