Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fermin Mingo started the match with the kick off. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Ioritz in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute Fermin Mingo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led C. A. Atlanta's Fermin Mingo to fire away a dangerous shot which Enrique Lekubegi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Gaufred in the 11th minute of play. Arnoldo Kismi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Ioritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Nicanor Gaufred had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoldo Kismi. C. A. Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Gaufred was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 20 minutes, Santos Ioritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palermo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Ioritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnoldo Kismi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Gaufred in the 21st minute of play. Lisandro Argi's late challenge caught a C. A. Atlanta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Argi helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Eli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Enrique Lekubegi firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Valentin Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kerimhan Sökmen lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in C. A. Atlanta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! C. A. Atlanta:s Arnoldo Kismi showed great skill when he stopped Julian Birila:s penalty. Arnoldo Kismi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Ioritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoldo Kismi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Enekoitz in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. A. Atlanta's Besart Toto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Evelio Guipuzkoa, made in the 41st minute of the game. 44 minutes in the game Julian Birila did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Evelio Guipuzkoa. In the 45th minute Valentin Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Kismi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Santos Ioritz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Arnoldo Kismi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Enrique Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Mingo in the 52nd minute of play. C. A. Atlanta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fermin Mingo in the 53rd minute. Nicasio Primeiro made a great header on C. A. Atlanta's corner, it was just that Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Baldomiro Eutor got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Gaufred in the 58th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Arnoldo Kismi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Eguen. Besart Toto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Lekubegi having to interfere. Arnoldo Kismi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Ioritz in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, Fermin Mingo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santos Ioritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Arnoldo Kismi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Kismi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Vachon, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Oscar Eguen hit a great ball. Fermin Mingo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Santos Ioritz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Arnoldo Kismi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo's goalkeeper Enrique Lekubegi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Palermo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
