Despite this Enrique Lekubegi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Benigno Pisculichi might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Lekubegi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Pisculichi ran back to his position shaking his head. Benigno Pisculichi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 47th playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicanor Gaufred to make the kick off. In the 91st minute, Tobias Lidon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Guido Abeita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Internet XAire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palermo the free kick. The supporters of Palermo booed when Internet XAire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Internet XAire's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
