Fermin Mingo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute Fermin Mingo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Cresencio in the 9th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Arnoldo Kismi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to C. A. Atlanta getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Iker Dolfos hit a great ball. Eduardo Llorienzo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnoldo Kismi. C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Eli in the 13th minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Geronimo Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Eli got free with Geronimo Rainerio in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Silvanito in the 16th minute of play. If Maximo Loco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Eli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Geronimo Rainerio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Silvanito in the 24th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Arnoldo Kismi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Dolfos to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 36 minutes, Robustiano Ulizes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quitilipi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Ulizes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Mingo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Salvatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnoldo Kismi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Silvanito in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fermin Mingo was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Jonathan Eli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geronimo Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Eli in the 56th minute of play. Jonathan Eli struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Geronimo Rainerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Atlanta. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Eli in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geronimo Rainerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnoldo Kismi made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Hector Silvanito sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi got control of the ball when Hector Silvanito tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Dolfos to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes, Quitilipi's Eduardo Llorienzo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnoldo Kismi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quitilipi reached it. Primitivo Salvatore lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for C. A. Atlanta. Fermin Mingo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Geronimo Rainerio. 1-0. Evaristo Rosio's late challenge caught a Quitilipi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Rosio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Rosio to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Jonathan Eli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Jonathan Eli made a precise shot to the right of Geronimo Rainerio. Quitilipi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Quitilipi's Amadeo Cresencio got a free kick in the 91st minute. Fermin Mingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Mingo came free, but Geronimo Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Quitilipi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C. A. Atlanta.
