If Besart Toto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes C. A. Atlanta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gringo Heinze who took care of the corner kick. Sergio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Fabricio Tuste hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Atlanta's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
