Apolo Tristan came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Cachiyuyo EAS's Melquiades Hulberto. But to his dismay, Melquiades Hulberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 19 minutes, Arnoldo Weterio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachiyuyo EAS and the Quitilipi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cachiyuyo EAS's Arnoldo Weterio got a free kick in the 19th minute. Cachiyuyo EAS's Melquiades Hulberto got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cachiyuyo EAS's Duda Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Maximo Loco fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quitilipi's protests and gave Maximo Loco a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Quitilipi getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Maximo Loco hit a great ball. Melquiades Hulberto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apolo Tristan having to make a save. In the 29th minute Melquiades Hulberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Tristan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 minutes Cachiyuyo EAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eduardo Llorienzo who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Felipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Tristan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Hulberto in the 42nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Quitilipi's Arnulfo Nataniel threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fulgencio Johans, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melquiades Hulberto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Quitilipi's Amadeo Cresencio got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 53 minutes, Romulo Quirce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachiyuyo EAS and the Quitilipi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Romulo Quirce kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Fulgencio Johans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quitilipi's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Johans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnulfo Nataniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustacio Txindoki fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 57th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 62nd match minute, Cachiyuyo EAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Rito to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Johans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cachiyuyo EAS's Arnulfo Nataniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Silvanito in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Fulgencio Johans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulgencio Johans in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Nataniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnulfo Nataniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Silvanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Arnulfo Nataniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Silvanito in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Loco in the 82nd minute of play forced Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Arnulfo Nataniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Melquiades Hulberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachiyuyo EAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Hulberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th match minute, Quitilipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Silvanito to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Hulberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Tristan having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Txindoki got free with Apolo Tristan in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnulfo Nataniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Johans in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's Fulgencio Johans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnulfo Nataniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
