Nelson Vidal hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Walmir Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Pinho in the 26th minute of play. Oscar Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafa Coutinho in the 29th minute. Paulinho Paraibano hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Capixaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Leopoldo Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Capixaba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® booed when Squadra Demarchi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafa Coutinho in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oscar Saldanha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Claudinho Pinho struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Walmir Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Squadra Demarchi. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Nelson Vidal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Walmir Dias. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Rafa Coutinho. But to his dismay, Rafa Coutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 61st match minute, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Squadra Demarchi's Júnior Meirelles shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Walmir Dias but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kléber Queirós got free with Walmir Dias in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Coutinho in the 72nd minute of play. If Leopoldo Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrianinho Furtado hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Paulinho Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Squadra Demarchi's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho Paraibano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmir Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Hudson Peixoto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. After 89 played minutes Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Coutinho. Felippe Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
