João Pedro Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Victor was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nelsinho Marinho. In the 18th minute, Serafim Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, João Pedro Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. John Victor made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Ronaldo Pirani sent off a good shot on target. Zézinho Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Peder Neira hit a great ball. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s John Victor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute Igor Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Victor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. John Victor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wanderson Paranaense made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goal looked a bit too open when Serafim Simão came free, but John Victor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John Victor came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Ronaldo Pirani. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Pirani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Palestra do Interior's Delfim Quintal was substituted for David Vale. Palestra do Interior's Dinei Brito was substituted for Pau Lin-Carlos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Simão in the 68th minute of play forced CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper John Victor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Elano Viana got a free kick in the 72nd minute. John Victor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinei Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ezequiel de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Ezequiel de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Wanderson Paranaense notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Palestra do Interior's Antônio Carlos Cavalcante. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 87 minutes, Dinei Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestra do Interior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinei Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ defense, Serafim Simão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Victor. The CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Victor should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the game, João Pedro Paiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palestra do Interior the free kick. After 94 played minutes CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Paiva. For all the effort they put into the match, the CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Palestra do Interior.
