The supporters of E.C 2 Janeiro RS booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Válter de Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Gyula Grosics made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Furtado in the 9th minute of play forced E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Telmo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes of play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Washington Furtado made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haroldo Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Washington Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Telmo Madureira. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Telmo Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Garcia in the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 minutes of play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Toninho Garcia made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Ernani Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Furtado in the 42nd minute of play. Telmo Madureira came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Toninho Garcia. But to his dismay, Toninho Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The E.C 2 Janeiro RS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA were winning 0-5.

Reynaldo Zanette hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Geraldo Eger sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gyula Grosics skillfully saved the ball. In the 52nd minute, Inácio Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 54 minutes, Toninho Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toninho Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Zanette's late challenge caught a E.C 2 Janeiro RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Zanette helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of E.C 2 Janeiro RS booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Washington Furtado scored to the left of an out of position Telmo Madureira, making the score, 0-6. In the 62nd minute, Jean Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Valadares in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gyula Grosics saved CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA from getting behind. When Ernani Travassos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. The supporters of E.C 2 Janeiro RS booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Fellipe Rezende sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gyula Grosics skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Reynaldo Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Zanette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Telmo Madureira managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Reynaldo Zanette fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Duda Goiano in the 76th minute. Reynaldo Zanette struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Telmo Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Telmo Madureira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reynaldo Zanette could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Telmo Madureira made a huge save. Jean Quintal charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean Quintal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Quintal to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Fellipe Rezende shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gyula Grosics came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in E.C 2 Janeiro RS reached it. Válter de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gyula Grosics tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than E.C 2 Janeiro RS throughout the match.
