With a couple of smart ball manuevers Túlio Maravilha in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Augusto Peixoto saved Vascogoianiense FC from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Sena came free, but Zé Augusto Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Túlio Maravilha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmares Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Túlio Maravilha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Vascogoianiense FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palmares Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
