Mauro de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Paranaense in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Wanderson Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiliam Torres during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Dudu Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudu Queiroz couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Telmo Barbosa got free with John Victor in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. John Victor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Jailson de Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John Victor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 31 minutes of play CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Wiliam Torres was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dudu Queiroz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Victor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jailson de Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nova Iguaçu MZFC made a substitution. Cesinha Cruz replaced Vladimir Braga. In the 58th minute, Luizinho Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ were furious when Elano Viana was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Elano Viana hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Queiroz in the 62nd minute of play forced CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper John Victor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s John Victor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson de Carvalho in the 65th minute of play.
