Didi Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Davi Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Machado in the 29th minute of the match. Davi Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Garcia in the 32nd minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Tarcisio Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Toninho Garcia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tarcisio Gerber. The goal made the score 2-0. Evandro Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Davi Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Washington Furtado was the one to do the kick off. Toninho Garcia took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tarcisio Gerber. Tarcisio Gerber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 93rd minute, Washington Furtado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
