Valdo Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Alberto Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horácio Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Rafa Coutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdo Catarinense. SORRISO E. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafa Coutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Walmir Dias made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Alberto Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. SORRISO E. C.'s Vítor Sousa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Walmir Dias in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafa Coutinho in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdo Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leopoldo Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Valdo Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® had won after a very even match.
