Sport Club Mavericks's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Igor Jesus scored to the left of an out of position Amadeu Prado, making the score, 2-0. Zézinho Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. John Victor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Neto in the 37th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Igor Jesus took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Amadeu Prado to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zézinho Neto was the one to do the kick off. John Victor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, José Carlos Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters rose to their feet, but José Carlos Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Victor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeu Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Jesus in the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson Paranaense came free, but Amadeu Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
