Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Washington Furtado started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Souza came free, but Davi Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duda Goiano hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute of the match Dudu Queiroz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davi Tande skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Jailson de Carvalho got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Jailson de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davi Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Souza in the 13th minute of play. When Washington Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's protests and gave Washington Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dudu Queiroz took a good shot, in the 16th minute, which hit the crossbar above Davi Tande's head, and flew over the goal. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Nova Iguaçu MZFC. Davi Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Paulo Renato Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Davi Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Vidal in the 31st minute of play. In the 40th minute Jailson de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paulo Renato Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Davi Tande came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Jailson de Carvalho. But to his dismay, Jailson de Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Paulo Renato Souza struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Davi Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Iguaçu MZFC. In the 68th match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Garcia to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dudu Queiroz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Davi Tande came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nova Iguaçu MZFC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson de Carvalho in the 70th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Davi Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Nova Iguaçu MZFC booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Washington Furtado hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Souza. With an all-out effort, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Davi Tande threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jailson de Carvalho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jean Quintal hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Deivid Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Deivid Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, Nova Iguaçu MZFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Washington Furtado took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro de Salles. Mauro de Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Reynaldo Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Renato Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
