In the 21st minute, Elias Damasceno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 卡納里尼奧 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 24 minutes into the match, Elias Damasceno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlinhos da Costa. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Damasceno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Carlinhos da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Damasceno in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Damasceno in the 40th minute of play forced E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Carlinhos da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Carlinhos da Costa got control of the ball when Sidnei Dionísio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th play minute Elias Damasceno came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carlinhos da Costa. 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Elias Damasceno made the kick off in the second half. Carlinhos da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The E.C 2 Janeiro RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos da Costa should have stopped the shot. The E.C 2 Janeiro RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos da Costa should have stopped the shot. Carlinhos da Costa came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by 卡納里尼奧 FC's Agostinho Guedes. But to his dismay, Agostinho Guedes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Elias Damasceno got a free kick in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Eliseu Alagoano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlinhos da Costa. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseu Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0.
