But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Túlio Maravilha couldn't finish the play. MARINUS MZC's Donato de Souza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ricardo Barreto, made in the 12th minute of the game. After 13 minutes of play, Palmares Futebol Clube's Túlio Maravilha made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Perivaldo Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Túlio Maravilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, MARINUS MZC's Vítor de Senna got a free kick in the 20th minute. Perivaldo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Maravilha in the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the MARINUS MZC defense, Túlio Maravilha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perivaldo Moreira. The MARINUS MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perivaldo Moreira should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Vítor de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, João Vítor Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmares Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but João Vítor Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perivaldo Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Túlio Maravilha took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perivaldo Moreira. Perivaldo Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The MARINUS MZC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palmares Futebol Clube were winning 0-3.

53 minutes into the match, Palmares Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Guimarães came free, but Leonardo Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perivaldo Moreira made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Luisinho Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. Perivaldo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Túlio Maravilha got free with Perivaldo Moreira in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Palmares Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ricardo Barreto hit a great ball.
