After 4 played minutes SE Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Baiano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Rossi in the 10th minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Will Muralhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Zézinho Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SE Palmeiras's Will Muralhas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Neto came free, but Will Muralhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute João Vítor de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeu Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor de Almeida in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute, SE Palmeiras's Dito Donatello seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dito Donatello the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SE Palmeiras protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dito Donatello had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of SE Palmeiras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sport Club Mavericks:s goal. SE Palmeiras:s Will Muralhas showed great skill when he stopped Mateus Novaes:s penalty. Davi Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Will Muralhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Décio Peixoto during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Décio Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Zézinho Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Muralhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Will Muralhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Cean in the 29th minute of play. Amadeu Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor de Almeida in the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th minute José Carlos Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Muralhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oswaldo Godoi made a kick off. Davi Rossi scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Will Muralhas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Mavericks's Rogério Cean got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 61 minutes of play, SE Palmeiras's Oswaldo Godoi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Prado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Natanael Paraense's late challenge caught a Sport Club Mavericks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natanael Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. Natanael Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match, Davi Rossi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Will Muralhas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Sport Club Mavericks defense, Oswaldo Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeu Prado. The Sport Club Mavericks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeu Prado should have stopped the shot. SE Palmeiras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
