Corderall Avendaño ran over to the corner to take the kick. Porfiro Revilla didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 9th minute. Pulpo1971 FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zxavian Ibarlucea during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Pulpo1971 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zxavian Ibarlucea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 played minutes Pulpo1971 FC got a freekick which was hit by Porfiro Revilla. In the 24th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Valentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pulpo1971 FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Corderall Avendaño in the 28th minute. The corner ended in Corderall Avendaño almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porfiro Revilla in the 32nd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Pulpo1971 FC's Porfiro Revilla fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Porfiro Revilla took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Porfiro Revilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Pulpo1971 FC's Teofilo Valentin. Teofilo Valentin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porfiro Revilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Pulpo1971 FC made a substitution. Severiano Leceta replaced Aaron Lizana. In the 52nd minute, one of Pulpo1971 FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pulpo1971 FC. Maximiliano Escribano struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Teofilo Valentin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teofilo Valentin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Oswaldo Ares made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo. Pulpo1971 FC's Teofilo Valentin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Pulpo1971 FC from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Valentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Porfiro Revilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Porfiro Revilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Arturo Carvallo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Porfiro Revilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 77th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Beldad to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Valentin made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 88th minute of play forced Pulpo1971 FC's goalkeeper Teofilo Valentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pulpo1971 FC's Lehen Guardamino got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pulpo1971 FC's Mane Alcubilla was substituted for Lehen Guardamino. Pulpo1971 FC's Grabiel Arcelay was substituted for Katia Lallera. Porfiro Revilla took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. After 98 minutes Pulpo1971 FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jaime Cazalla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pulpo1971 FC's Teofilo Valentin did a great save. The Pulpo1971 FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
