The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Meadow Village getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Eric Lindblom hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Bergren got free with Henry Vall in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Meadow Village's Kenny Axelsson got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Meadow Village's goalkeeper Henry Vall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Bergren. After 21 played minutes Meadow Village got a freekick which was hit by Sverker Valrot. Tim Sandell hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Staffan Deckbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sven-Åke Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Almkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malcolm Ahlström in the 35th minute of the match. After 37 minutes of play, Meadow Village's Malcolm Ahlström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Almkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute Malcolm Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Almkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Eric Lindblom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meadow Village fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The NovaStella FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Meadow Village were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eric Lindblom to strike the kick off in the second half. When Eric Lindblom came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Meadow Village fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Lindblom couldn't finish the play. In the 58th match minute, NovaStella FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erling Hellkvist to maneuver through the defense. Eric Lindblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Patrick Almkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Otto Hermansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meadow Village's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NovaStella FK the free kick. Patrick Almkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sverker Valrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 91st minute, Eric Lindblom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, NovaStella FK's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Lindblom came free, but Patrick Almkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Eric Lindblom recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrick Almkvist. Eric Lindblom showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4.
