The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Operário Futebol Clube booed when Mörknäs Electric Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Vilmar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Clóvis Lima came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Operário Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Lima couldn't finish the play. Evaristo Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 7 minutes of play, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Örjan Hybbert made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inácio Guimarães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inácio Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes Operário Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Lima. In the 11th minute Örjan Hybbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Operário Futebol Clube's Evaristo Silveira got a free kick in the 12th minute. Téo Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Inácio Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 34th minute Bengt Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmie Lundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Bengt Eklund notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Operário Futebol Clube's Inácio Guimarães. Inácio Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jimmie Lundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glauco Vidal in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt Eklund was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Décio Vale during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Glauco Vidal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 86th match minute, Operário Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Bengt Eklund in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Inácio Guimarães, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 90 played minutes Operário Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Vidal. 95 minutes into the game, Örjan Hybbert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Inácio Guimarães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
