Nestor Quintal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Botond Bodor went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 20th match minute, Várdomb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lóránd Angyal to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Ezequiel Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilmos Balázs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Romeu Guerra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vilmos Balázs quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 30 played minutes Várdomb got a freekick which was hit by István Balogh. Várdomb's Vilmos Balázs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor Rodrigues in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Romeu Guerra hit a great ball. Vilmos Balázs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos de Azevedo in the 38th minute of play. José Vítor Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Vítor Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Gyarmati was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Botond Bodor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilmos Balázs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Vítor Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Botond Bodor in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Quintal saved Independente FC from getting behind. In the 59th minute Simon Tokody shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Mendes got free with Vilmos Balázs in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nestor Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Botond Bodor in the 65th minute of play. When Inácio das Neves fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independente FC's protests and gave Inácio das Neves a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Independente FC got a freekick which was hit by Inácio das Neves. Marcel Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Vilmos Balázs made a huge save. Independente FC's Nestor Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elemér Pálffy in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Independente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Tokody came free, but Nestor Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Várdomb were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Independente FC for a fine match.
