An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Mazurkiewicz in the 37th minute of play forced Meadow Village's goalkeeper Henry Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otto Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gianluigi Donnarumma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edward Ivarsson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Komen Grama came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Henry Vall could save by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Mazurkiewicz made a kick off. A collision led to Meadow Village getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jerry Stenqvist hit a great ball. When Joélson Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's protests and gave Joélson Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Paraibano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Komen Grama in the 83rd minute of play forced Meadow Village's goalkeeper Henry Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Ladislao Mazurkiewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
