The supporters of Garanhão do SUL booed when RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. István Selymes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes, Garanhão do SUL's Tarcísio Palha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Justin Abril came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Garanhão do SUL reached it. 14 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Heitor Peseiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldão Fenomeno. In the 15th match minute, RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Gilesindo to maneuver through the defense. When Israel Coutinho fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garanhão do SUL's protests and gave Israel Coutinho a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Israel Coutinho. Heitor Peseiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Dimo in the 19th minute of the match. Niceto Chago kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diogo Rios during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's Diogo Rios got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Celedonio Dimo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Justin Abril played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Roriz in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldão Fenomeno in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heitor Peseiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the game, Celedonio Dimo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garanhão do SUL the free kick. After 31 played minutes RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Dimo. Ronaldão Fenomeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heitor Peseiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by István Selymes in the 48th minute. After taking down the ball on RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's corner István Selymes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Heitor Peseiro quite easily take care of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 53 minutes, Ronaldão Fenomeno made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Garanhão do SUL's Heitor Peseiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57thth minute of the game Ronaldão Fenomeno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garanhão do SUL's Heitor Peseiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Celedonio Dimo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's goal looked a bit too open when André Roriz came free, but Justin Abril reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Fabrício Coloccini had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Israel Coutinho was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. A hard shot by Evandro Cruz from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Justin Abril's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ronaldão Fenomeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Heitor Peseiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldão Fenomeno's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Garanhão do SUL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. István Selymes took the corner. The corner ended in István Selymes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Garanhão do SUL's Heitor Peseiro did a great save. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
