De Boedo Vengo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dezassete the free kick. In the 15th match minute, FC Dezassete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nivaldo Rijo to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute of the match Gino Custódio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norberto Melo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 79 minutes of play, De Boedo Vengo's Fulgencio Lalla made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberto Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to FC Dezassete getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Vivaldo Caneira hit a great ball. Norberto Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle sounded De Boedo Vengo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Dezassete.
