FC Dezassete's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronny Skytt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Norberto Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from C.J. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Rosario Escarza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by LVCVS AVGVSTI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tiago Dantas was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Dezassete's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Dezassete's corner Tiago Dantas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rosario Escarza quite easily take care of the ball. The LVCVS AVGVSTI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. 85 minutes into the game, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Baldomero Chano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norberto Melo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. 90 minutes into the match, Baldomero Chano notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of FC Dezassete's Norberto Melo. Norberto Melo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Norberto Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from C.J.
