Salim Adas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edin Džeko's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Salim Adas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edin Džeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Salim Adas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edin Džeko in the 11th minute of play. GeRaÇãO-83 were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after De Boedo Vengo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Muhammadu ibn Abi Bakr took the corner. After taking down the ball on GeRaÇãO-83's corner Antonio Di Natale fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Salim Adas quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Lalla in the 15th minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Grzegorz Siekierski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edin Džeko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edin Džeko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salim Adas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Salim Adas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edin Džeko went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. De Boedo Vengo's Salim Adas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Medero Gadea in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Edin Džeko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye De Boedo Vengo's goalie prevented a goal. 36 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Edin Džeko came free, but Salim Adas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edin Džeko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salim Adas having to interfere. Grzegorz Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Lalla in the 42nd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

GeRaÇãO-83's Per-Oskar Ekgren quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arturo Beltza, made in the 53rd minute of the game. After 57 played minutes GeRaÇãO-83 got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Ralf. GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Lalla in the 59th minute of play. If Edin Džeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edin Džeko in the 65th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Salim Adas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Per-Oskar Ekgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Edin Džeko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salim Adas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 75 minutes, Filomeno Montel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Boedo Vengo and the GeRaÇãO-83 players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Medero Gadea in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salim Adas saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Edin Džeko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GeRaÇãO-83 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 81st minute, Teobaldo Fertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salim Adas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edin Džeko's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Medero Gadea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salim Adas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When GeRaÇãO-83's Medero Gadea in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Filomeno Montel hit a great ball. The GeRaÇãO-83 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GeRaÇãO-83 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
