Zelg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerry Belisle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Perpiñán breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Beller in the 10th minute of play forced Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurentius Amberg's late challenge caught a Sporting Burgas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laurentius Amberg helped the player get up and apologised. Laurentius Amberg kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beremundo Castro came free, but Aurelius Bolduc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Burgas from getting a goal against them. Aurelius Bolduc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beremundo Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seve Sevilla walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Beremundo Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zelg FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oscar Erasmo in the 35th minute. After taking down the ball on Zelg FC's corner Gioele Spillmann fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Álvaro Perpiñán quite easily take care of the ball. Beremundo Castro struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Aurelius Bolduc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Burgas. In the 41st match minute, Sporting Burgas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beremundo Castro to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerry Belisle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zelg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Burgas the free kick. Beremundo Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Beremundo Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aurelius Bolduc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beremundo Castro came free, but Aurelius Bolduc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galo Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelius Bolduc having to interfere. When Gioele Spillmann fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zelg FC's protests and gave Gioele Spillmann a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Gioele Spillmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Zelg FC's Eugen Graf got a free kick in the 91st minute. Sporting Burgas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
