In the 2nd match minute, FC Dezassete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Caneira to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the game, Alcides Valadares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ignatius Casasola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ignatius Casasola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcides Valadares in the 9th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Garanhão do SUL defense, Alcides Valadares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignatius Casasola. The Garanhão do SUL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignatius Casasola should have stopped the shot. António Gama blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norberto Melo having to make a save. Gatis Caca-Rato's late challenge caught a Garanhão do SUL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gatis Caca-Rato helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 24 minutes, Fabrício Águas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garanhão do SUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Águas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Octávio Trindade kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Norberto Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Gama in the 33rd minute of play. Luís Ekaterinoslavskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Águas in the 47th minute of play forced FC Dezassete's goalkeeper Norberto Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alcides Valadares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, FC Dezassete's Alcides Valadares made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignatius Casasola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octávio Trindade charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octávio Trindade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Octávio Trindade hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurício Caetano got free with Ignatius Casasola in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Roriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Angel Edorta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garanhão do SUL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dezassete the free kick. After 66 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Angel Edorta. 69 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Alcides Valadares came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Ekaterinoslavskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, FC Dezassete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cherry Kiss to maneuver through the defense. André Roriz scored 1-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norberto Melo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Dezassete's Norberto Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Edorta in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Abel Lameirinhas hit a great ball. If Alcides Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Garanhão do SUL from getting a goal against them.
