FC Dezassete's Norberto Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Van Impe in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's George Van Impe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norberto Melo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. George Van Impe took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Melo. Norberto Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Norberto Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Van Impe in the 11th minute of the match. George Van Impe took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Melo. Norberto Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, FC Dezassete's Gatis Caca-Rato got a free kick in the 19th minute. Norberto Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Goethals, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Luís Ekaterinoslavskiy charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Ekaterinoslavskiy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Luís Ekaterinoslavskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that George Van Impe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Melo was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Cherry Kiss's late challenge caught a de belletrekkers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cherry Kiss helped the player get up and apologised. Norberto Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Barboni in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, George Van Impe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Melo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Rein Goethals fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Melo having to interfere. Rein Goethals blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norberto Melo having to make a save. Alcides Valadares took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baxter De Hond. Baxter De Hond dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. In the 47th minute Rein Goethals shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rein Goethals made a kick off. Norberto Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Van Impe in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Dezassete's Cherry Kiss got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Rein Goethals notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of FC Dezassete's Norberto Melo. Norberto Melo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67thth minute of the game George Van Impe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Dezassete's Norberto Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 67 minutes, George Van Impe made it 1-7 with a short kick to the right side. FC Dezassete's Norberto Melo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the match, FC Dezassete's goalkeeper Norberto Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rein Goethals. If Rein Goethals had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Van Impe in the 74th minute of play. Norberto Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Goethals, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 76th minute, George Van Impe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Alcides Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dezassete's supporters rose to their feet, but Alcides Valadares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baxter De Hond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rdth minute of the game Alcides Valadares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but de belletrekkers's Baxter De Hond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rein Goethals struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Norberto Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for de belletrekkers. Rein Goethals recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC Dezassete fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. de belletrekkers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
