Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Medero Gadea started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Sporting Burgas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seve Sevilla to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sporting Burgas booed when GeRaÇãO-83 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiang Xiang Sheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edin Džeko in the 10th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Medero Gadea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edin Džeko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Álvaro Perpiñán having to make a save. Álvaro Perpiñán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Džeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galo Campos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 18th playminute. In the 23rd minute of the match Sporting Burgas got a corner. GeRaÇãO-83's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Seve Sevilla ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Galo Campos heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 31st minute, Medero Gadea made a precise shot to the right of Álvaro Perpiñán. Sporting Burgas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Edin Džeko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Álvaro Perpiñán. Sporting Burgas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edin Džeko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Medero Gadea in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Javier Carmona threw the ball into play from the sideline. GeRaÇãO-83's Paulinho Ralf quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edin Džeko in the 44th minute of play. With a little luck, GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski got control of the ball when Galo Campos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beremundo Castro made a kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting Burgas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Billy Backman was slow to take the kick. During this time GeRaÇãO-83's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jiang Xiang Sheng almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán did a great save. In the 57th minute of the match, Edin Džeko got a very nice opportunity to score, but Álvaro Perpiñán was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 59th minute Galo Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edin Džeko in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Álvaro Perpiñán prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Antonio Di Natale in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sporting Burgas's Rodrigo Parra. The GeRaÇãO-83 fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán got control of the ball when Luiz Fabiano Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GeRaÇãO-83 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
