Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hermenegildo Maldonado started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Beremundo Castro scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lancelot Sauca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lancelot Sauca came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Burgas's Beremundo Castro. But to his dismay, Beremundo Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Lancelot Sauca made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Galo Campos sent off a good shot on target. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Harroyo in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Sporting Burgas's Galo Campos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 34 minutes into the match, Sporting Burgas's goal looked a bit too open when Hermenegildo Maldonado came free, but Álvaro Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Zabal Font hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beremundo Castro was the one to do the kick off. When Beremundo Castro came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Sporting Burgas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beremundo Castro couldn't finish the play. After having played for 56 minutes, Seve Sevilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Burgas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seve Sevilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermenegildo Maldonado in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Romualdo Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermenegildo Maldonado in the 66th minute of play forced Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Los once leones Ourense's goal looked a bit too open when Galo Campos came free, but Lancelot Sauca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Harroyo in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Rodrigo Parra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Burgas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Parra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lancelot Sauca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beremundo Castro in the 77th minute of play. Álvaro Perpiñán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romualdo Salgado in the 78th minute of the match. Beremundo Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lancelot Sauca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galo Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Jacob Landa charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacob Landa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Los once leones Ourense's Jacob Landa got a free kick in the 96th minute. Sporting Burgas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
