Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gerry Belisle started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Stefan Beller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zelg FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After having played for 10 minutes, Silvio Llope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Rose 1979's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Llope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davor Šuker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelius Bolduc having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, D.J. Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Rose 1979's supporters rose to their feet, but D.J. Gol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelius Bolduc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enzo-Nicolás Pérez hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Baldomero Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Beller in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes Black Rose 1979's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oscar Erasmo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Zelg FC's Oscar Erasmo to fire away a dangerous shot which Baldomero Guillem despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Stefan Beller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Silvio Llope got a free kick in the 29th minute. Gerry Belisle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Baldomero Guillem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelius Bolduc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davor Šuker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Black Rose 1979's Baldomero Guillem got control of the ball when Gerry Belisle tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and D.J. Gol made a kick off. Gonza Montiel charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonza Montiel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oscar Erasmo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Guillem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Orlando Rudolfo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Rose 1979 and the Zelg FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Black Rose 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Rudolfo to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Belisle, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Aurelius Bolduc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from D.J. Gol in the 68th minute of play. Zelg FC's Aurelius Bolduc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by D.J. Gol in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers D.J. Gol in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelius Bolduc saved Zelg FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling D.J. Gol in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelius Bolduc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 76 minutes, D.J. Gol made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Zelg FC's Aurelius Bolduc tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerry Belisle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Zelg FC booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Venceslao didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Silvio Llope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gerry Belisle scored 2-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomero Guillem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 minutes, D.J. Gol made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Zelg FC's Aurelius Bolduc tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
