After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Beremundo Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Burgas's supporters rose to their feet, but Beremundo Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baxter De Hond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rein Goethals could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Álvaro Perpiñán made a huge save. Rein Goethals fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Perpiñán having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Daan Vos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. de belletrekkers's Baxter De Hond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beremundo Castro in the 11th minute of play. In the 18th minute, George Van Impe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The de belletrekkers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Baxter De Hond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galo Campos in the 22nd minute of the match. Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when George Van Impe 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rein Goethals got free with Álvaro Perpiñán in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baxter De Hond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beremundo Castro in the 32nd minute of play. Galo Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Baxter De Hond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Sporting Burgas's Beremundo Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baxter De Hond made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 40th match minute, Sporting Burgas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beremundo Castro to maneuver through the defense. Baxter De Hond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beremundo Castro in the 53rd minute of play. Rodrigo Parra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Baxter De Hond made a huge save. Baxter De Hond made an important save on a dangerous shot by Galo Campos in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Parra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baxter De Hond was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute Beremundo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baxter De Hond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
