An unexpectedly hard shot by Vergaray Echeto in the 3rd minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Baldomero Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Zubiaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute, Black Rose 1979's Jaime Guipuzkoa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Quinito Cifuentes made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Maximiliano Dalmu sent off a good shot on target. Uriel Zubiaga hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Felipo Quiroga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Guillem. Black Rose 1979's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipo Quiroga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Quinito Cifuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Reno in the 24th minute of the match. Zacarias Abreu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Zacarias Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacarias Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Black Rose 1979 defense, Uriel Zubiaga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Guillem. The Black Rose 1979 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Guillem should have stopped the shot. After 41 minutes of play, Cuatrodeocho's Vergaray Echeto made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Guillem was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Cuatrodeocho's Kristof Rolink got a free kick in the 47th minute. The long shot by Alonzo Oxel in the 48th minute really tested Quinito Cifuentes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximiliano Dalmu made a kick off. The supporters of Black Rose 1979 booed when Cuatrodeocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Austin Urbina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute Alonzo Oxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinito Cifuentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belo Sauca kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Felipo Quiroga hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cuatrodeocho getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Felipo Quiroga hit a great ball. Adrian Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinito Cifuentes having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Black Rose 1979 got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Reno. Black Rose 1979's Baldomero Guillem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Black Rose 1979 from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Carlos Malvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cuatrodeocho's Colas Gabas got a free kick in the 86th minute.
