With a little luck, De Boedo Vengo's Jon Hagström got control of the ball when Matthis Colpaert tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Paulo Lluciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthis Colpaert's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jon Hagström firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 18 minutes, Kristiaan Dirickx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the de belletrekkers and the De Boedo Vengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kristiaan Dirickx hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Emilio Rico hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Matthis Colpaert managed to get in a good position for a shot. de belletrekkers's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthis Colpaert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Hagström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kristiaan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Cibran in the 29th minute of play. When Kristiaan Dirickx was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. Kristiaan Dirickx kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Remco Baekelandt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

58 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Cibran came free, but Kristiaan Van de Velde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Remco Baekelandt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. de belletrekkers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Boedo Vengo the free kick. After a rather tough play, de belletrekkers's Remco Baekelandt got a free kick in the 59th minute. Lázaro Cordarius had several of the de belletrekkers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 59 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Kristiaan Van de Velde as he didn't even see the shot coming. Delmiro Cibran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristiaan Van de Velde having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthis Colpaert during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, de belletrekkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthis Colpaert to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Paulo Lluciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 minutes of play de belletrekkers's Matthis Colpaert was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Matthis Colpaert hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Emilio Rico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Kristiaan Van de Velde made a huge save. After 73 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Cibran. Karel-Jan De Coninck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Hagström having to interfere. Kristiaan Van de Velde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Lluciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Delmiro Cibran collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. When Raf De Backer fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored de belletrekkers's protests and gave Raf De Backer a yellow card for diving instead. De Boedo Vengo's Atilano Tab was substituted for Delmiro Cibran. After a rather tough play, de belletrekkers's Raf De Backer got a free kick in the 88th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Lázaro Cordarius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Boedo Vengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Cordarius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Atilano Tab left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Boedo Vengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when de belletrekkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Armentier didn't get a good kick on the ball. The De Boedo Vengo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
