Edgard Armentier kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Raf De Backer kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vergaray Echeto in the 15th minute of play forced de belletrekkers's goalkeeper Kristiaan Van de Velde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rein Goethals could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Isidor Balboa made a huge save. If Edgard Armentier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristiaan Van de Velde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vergaray Echeto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Vergaray Echeto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristiaan Van de Velde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vergaray Echeto in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristiaan Van de Velde saved de belletrekkers from getting behind. Kristiaan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vergaray Echeto in the 31st minute of play. Edgard Armentier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isidor Balboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgard Armentier slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 32nd minute. Kristiaan Van de Velde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vergaray Echeto in the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Tarin came free, but Kristiaan Van de Velde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes de belletrekkers got a freekick which was hit by Raf De Backer. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Tarin during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cuatrodeocho's Marcial Tarin got a free kick in the 46th minute. Kristiaan Van de Velde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Tarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vergaray Echeto was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Bazil Noya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuatrodeocho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bazil Noya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristiaan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vergaray Echeto in the 53rd minute of play. Marcial Tarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kristiaan Van de Velde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Rein Goethals hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes Cuatrodeocho got a freekick which was hit by Austin Urbina. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Tarin got free with Kristiaan Van de Velde in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 played minutes Cuatrodeocho got a freekick which was hit by Luis Aragones. After having played for 72 minutes, Karel-Jan De Coninck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. de belletrekkers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karel-Jan De Coninck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 minutes, Yanniek De Middeleer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the de belletrekkers and the Cuatrodeocho players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, de belletrekkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yanniek De Middeleer to maneuver through the defense. Isidor Balboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rein Goethals in the 76th minute of the match. Isidor Balboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Armentier in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, de belletrekkers's Rein Goethals got a free kick in the 78th minute. The supporters of Cuatrodeocho booed when de belletrekkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristiaan Dirickx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vergaray Echeto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vergaray Echeto in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristiaan Van de Velde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Georges-Philippe van Haghten's late challenge caught a Cuatrodeocho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georges-Philippe van Haghten helped the player get up and apologised. Georges-Philippe van Haghten hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Austin Urbina kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 93 played minutes de belletrekkers got a freekick which was hit by Kristiaan Dirickx. Bazil Noya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristiaan Van de Velde having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vergaray Echeto got free with Kristiaan Van de Velde in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luis Aragones charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Aragones the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cuatrodeocho getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Luis Aragones hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the game, Rein Goethals cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Isidor Balboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. de belletrekkers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
