An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Berenguer in the 12th minute of play forced de belletrekkers's goalkeeper Kristiaan Van de Velde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Hahay were awarded a corner. Gökmen Parshan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Gökmen Parshan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde did a great save. Delmar Berenguer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristiaan Van de Velde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Delmar Berenguer struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Kristiaan Van de Velde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hahay. Delmar Berenguer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristiaan Van de Velde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind de belletrekkers's goalkeeper Kristiaan Van de Velde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of de belletrekkers booed when Hahay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Hatman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rein Goethals was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde got control of the ball when Blažej Ravanelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Segundo Videl advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 61st minute. Hahay's Aigeus Milionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Armentier in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goalkeeper Kristiaan Van de Velde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Videl. Kristiaan Van de Velde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmar Berenguer in the 72nd minute. Kristiaan Van de Velde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Kristiaan Van de Velde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmar Berenguer went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 96thth minute of the game Delmar Berenguer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match was over Hahay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than de belletrekkers throughout the match.
