After some careless play in the Cuatrodeocho defense, Gennaro Carabajal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidor Balboa. The Cuatrodeocho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidor Balboa should have stopped the shot. Isidor Balboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Millrick's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 8th match minute, Cuatrodeocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Aragones to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Millrick might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidor Balboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabio Millrick ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute, Fabio Millrick fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Isidor Balboa, passed just outside the right post.
