Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Madeo Ramos got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Altino Guerreiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Isidor Balboa. The goal made the score 1-0. Heitor Horta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Madeo Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidor Balboa was a little too slow when Filipe Poças got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 12th minute of the match, Filipe Poças got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isidor Balboa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ponte do Carro's Heitor Horta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Madeo Ramos in the 13th minute of play. Marcial Tarin charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcial Tarin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Cuatrodeocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Tarin to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Sanches shot from long distance in the 15th minute, but Isidor Balboa was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 17 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Corte-Real lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Isidor Balboa. The supporters of Ponte do Carro booed when Cuatrodeocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Aragones didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ponte do Carro's Celso Câmara couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cuatrodeocho. Isidor Balboa made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Filipe Poças sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Altino Guerreiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidor Balboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Corte-Real, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The supporters of Ponte do Carro booed when Cuatrodeocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belo Sauca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 played minutes Ponte do Carro got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Corte-Real. 41 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's goal looked a bit too open when Altino Guerreiro came free, but Isidor Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cuatrodeocho getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Belo Sauca hit a great ball. Isidor Balboa was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Filipe Poças capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filipe Poças really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Madeo Ramos hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
The wind increased when Filipe Poças made the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Corte-Real received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Isidor Balboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Poças's late challenge caught a Cuatrodeocho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Poças helped the player get up and apologised. Altino Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cuatrodeocho's Isidor Balboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Poças in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Filipe Poças hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Altino Guerreiro in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidor Balboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Altino Guerreiro hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Isidor Balboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filipe Poças went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute Filipe Poças shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidor Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belo Sauca kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Isidor Balboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veríssimo Taveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Patrício's late challenge caught a Cuatrodeocho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 86 minutes Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Heitor Horta managed, with a little bit of luck, save Austin Urbina's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. In the 92nd minute, Altino Guerreiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ponte do Carro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Ponte do Carro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
