A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Geovani Madureira hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Mauro Sarmento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cleto Lastras was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Bada Bing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Sarmento came free, but Cleto Lastras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Mauro Sarmento made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cleto Lastras was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Sarmento in the 17th minute of play forced Bada Bing Club's goalkeeper Cleto Lastras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rufio Aranzubia kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Bada Bing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Eger came free, but Cleto Lastras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Bada Bing Club got a freekick which was hit by Rufio Aranzubia. After 28 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Mauro Sarmento made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cleto Lastras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cleto Lastras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marco Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Marcelo Eger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Cleto Lastras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Airas Tobias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Castanheiro SC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aritz Morales to strike the kick off in the second half. Airas Tobias struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Doni Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bada Bing Club. Ulisses Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Aritz Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bada Bing Club's Unai Antunez was substituted for Felip Cuervas. After 66 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Alagoano. Airas Tobias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Seco having to interfere. When Marcelo Eger came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Castanheiro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Eger couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Castanheiro SC's Mauro Sarmento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cleto Lastras. Cleto Lastras yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Cleto Lastras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Eger in the 95th minute of the match. The Bada Bing Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Castanheiro SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Castanheiro SC.
